Isolation with Crohn's

I have heard a lot of people saying that they are struggling with the lockdown saying they are bored and need the restrictions to be lifted.

Well yes it would be nice to get back to normal life (whatever normal is) but the reality of living with Crohn's disease or any IBD is that a lot of our life is spent in isolation or with restrictions. When we are ill and in flare up we regularly spend weeks in the house on our own. Or not going out or socialising, so does this now mean we are now normal! Sadly not in a few weeks from now when everyone goes back to their everyday lives, a lot of us IBD warriors will remain in isolation, possibly even worse as any loved ones that we had for company will return to work leaving us completely alone. As this battle of loneliness and isolation will continue for us for the rest of our lives, so if you have IBD keep strong you been doing this a long time. If you don't have IBD then when you do go back to work or normal daily activities spare a thought for the people still at home things my become more difficult for them.
