Our Mission Statement
The Gutsy Foundation is a charity run by volunteers, who are working to improve the lives of those affected by inflammatory bowel diseases. The most common ones are Crohn’s and Colitis.
Our mission is to uplift the lives of all people who are affected by Crohn’s disease, Colitis and other IBD diseases, by offering information, support, and signposting to sufferers and their families.
We aim for no one to suffer alone or go without the correct care and support, to raise awareness of these life-changing diseases among the public, and to raise funds for much-needed services and research.

That's right, unlike many other lotteries, our lottery tickets are only £1 per week.
How it works
50% of the ticket price goes to The Gutsy Foundation and 10% to other causes in Middlesbrough.

Who we are
We are a charity which was set up in 2018 to help people who suffer from Crohn's disease, colitis and other inflammatory bowel diseases IBD.
What we do
We hold several events throughout the year such as social events like an annual ball, quiz nights, race nights band nights, support meetings in which you can chat with like-minded people, and fundraising events.

At The Gutsy Foundation, we’re more than just a charity we’re a community. We are people living with IBD or are family and close friends of someone who is. We know the daily challenges these diseases bring, and that’s why we’re here to offer support, guidance, and hope.
