Bernice & Simon

Simon supports Bernice and he sees first-hand the challenges that people with IBD face, this is why he feels passionate about supporting the team to help make some positive changes for people who are affected by IBD.

Rachel & Kevin
Rachel has Crohn's disease with a number of complex linked issues.
She is passionate about supporting the team and helping others. Rachel feels it is extremely important to raise awareness and provide support for each other.
Kevin supports Rachel with her work within the team and is becoming more active in helping out where he can.

Andy & Lyndsay
Andy has Crohn's disease and he has had ongoing struggles managing his Crohn's for many years, he has had links with the team for many years through his fundraising for Crohn's and Colitis, and he is always looking for new ways to help others.
Lyndsay supports Andy with his fundraising and the team in many different ways.

Kat
Is a close friend of team members and has felt drawn to help out where she can after seeing the struggles her friends have faced over the years, she helps out in many ways like raising awareness, planning events and raising funds for the work the charity does.

Mandy
Joined the team because she wanted to make a difference in people's lives. Mandy's eldest son has Crohn's disease and while going through the process of getting a diagnosis she felt there was no support for either her son, herself or her family. She said she felt useless and that she couldn't be of any help to him. Also, she was so worried about him but felt there was no one to help and support her and her family. After a tough couple of years she feels now is the time for her to be of some help to people who are in her situation.
